Treeva Spark
Treeva Spark is the children's imprint behind My First Phonics Activity, a series of full-color workbooks that guide young readers from first sounds to fluent reading. Founded by a Licensed Master Social Worker with more than ten years of experience supporting children, including those with special needs, the imprint was born from a gap Treeva saw firsthand: too many early literacy workbooks rely on filler instead of methods proven to help kids actually learn.
The books are built on a Science of Reading foundation—systematic phonics, phonemic awareness, and carefully sequenced practice. Treeva's social work background shapes every design choice: predictable layouts, generous white space, repeated visual anchors, and gentle pacing that support neurodivergent and typically developing children alike. Every workbook is curated, not padded—meaningful practice with a clear arc from first exposure to confident mastery.
Setting the series apart is a cast of five recurring animal friends who guide children through every book. Their consistency builds emotional connection and supports memory, part of the trauma-informed, child-centered approach Treeva developed over years with young learners. The series is trusted by homeschool families, classroom teachers, reading interventionists, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals.

My daughter absolutely loves this workbook! The activities are engaging, easy to understand, and have helped her practice letter sounds and simple CVC words. The pages are colorful, well organized, and keep her interested. We've already seen improvement in her confidence and reading skills. This book is a refreshing approach to early reading, turning vowel sounds into fun characters instead of memorized word lists. My daughter especially loves pointing at the animals, we make the sounds together as we go, which keeps her really engaged.
The activities build up from tracing and coloring to matching, rhyming, and word building.
